Today we're going to be taking a look at Part Number TR63051, this is the Pintle Hitch Ball with 2" Diameter. It's made from a steel construction and it's going to have a nice chrome finish so it's going to be protected from rust and corrosion. It's also got the nice wrench flats here on the side for an easier installation. When installing this, it will need to be torqued to the specifications listed by the manufacturer. Curt Hitch Ball - Trailer Hitch Ball - A-80 Review- Video

Today we're going to be taking a look at part number A dash eight zero. This is the Curt one and seven eighth inch hitch ball. It's made from a stainless steel construction. You can see here that it's going to include your nut and lock washer. It's got the wrench flats here on the side. That way you can get a wrench on there and get everything tightened down and installed according to the instructions, or the manufacturer's specifications. The shank diameter on this unit, is going to measure three quarters of an inch. Take a measurement of the shank length, from the bottom of the platform to the end of the threaded portion, it's going to be about two and one eighth of an inch. This unit is designed to fit draw bar thicknesses from three eighths of an inch, to seven eighths of an inch thick. more

The shank length, measuring form the bottom of the shoulder to the end of the thread-in portions, we're going to measure two and one quarter of an inch. If we measure from the bottom of the shoulder to the top of the hitch ball, that's going to give us a measurement of about two and three quarters of an inch. Today we're going to review part #8072B. This is the Convert-A-Ball Stainless Steel Interchangeable Ball Set with the 1 7/8" diameter hitch ball and a 2" diameter hitch ball. Now this hitch ball set will allow you to easily switch between these 2 different size hitch balls without having to use a heavy wrench to remove the hitch ball from the ball mount. Basically, what you do is just by removing this integrated pin in the hitch ball, you can see the side that has the dimple in it, if you just push on it, it'll pop out the other side. Today we're going to review part number 19256. This is the Tow Ready 1 5/8" diameter chrome hitch ball with the short shank and a 2000 eight capacity. This trailer hitch ball has a nice chrome plating to help corrosion resistance. The pad of it is a w 7/8" diameter head and if you notice on the very top it is labeled 1 7/8ths and it also shows the weight capacity which is 2000 pounds. Does come with the wrench flats you can see which are the flat spots right here which allows you to put a wrench on it so when you go to torque this down to your ball mount it will hold your ball into place. Reese Hitch Ball - Gooseneck Hitch Ball - RP19311 Review- Video

Today we're going to review part number RP19311. This is the Reese 2 5/16th diameter replacement ball for the Reese Elite Series, and the factory Ford and Dodge gooseneck hitches. This hitch ball is designed for use with the Reese Elite Series under-bed gooseneck trailer hitch or it will also work with the Ford super Duty with the fifth wheel gooseneck hitch prep package and the Dodge 2500 and 3500 models that have the hitch prep package starting in 2013. Basically the way this would install is pop-in ball fit securely in the hitch, it's easy to insert and remove. If you notice right on the top here there's this integrated lever. You basically just lift and turn this and you'll see the lever stays open and you'll notice the ball bearing system right down here, they go in so you drop it in to the hitch itself and then when you turn the lever to lock it you can see that the ball stays in place, doesn't move. Again, just to go over it, you open it up you can see the ball stays open, drops into place, just turn and it'll lock it with the build in ball bearing system. more

Today, we're going to review Part# 5973. This is the Draw-Tite 2-5/16" diameter Remov-a-Ball Gooseneck Hitch Ball. Now this part is a replacement Gooseneck Ball for the Remov-a-Ball Gooseneck trailer hitches made by Draw-Tite and Reese. Basically those gooseneck hitches would allow you to drop this ball into place and then a pin would go through the hole right in here to lock it into place. Convert-A-Ball Interchangeable Ball Set Review - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we are going to be installing the convert a ball interchangeable ball set part number 904B. Now in order to install this convert a ball system on this particular ball mount, we are going to need to use a hitch ball bushing that goes from an inch and a quarter opening down to a one inch. As our ball mount has an inch and a quarter opening on it and a shank on our convert a ball is only a one inch. We'll be using the hitch ball bushing inch and a quarter to one inch part number F-2. We'll begin by first sliding our bushing over the shank of our ball. With that into position, we can slide it to the hole on the ball mount, put that into position like that, we'll slide our lock washer on followed by our hex nut. We'll then and go ahead and take our impact gun and tighten down the nut. more

Convert-A-Ball Interchangeable Ball Set Installation - 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we're going to be installing the Convert-A-Ball Interchangeable Ball Set, part # 900B. Now In order to install this Convert-A-Ball system on this particular ball mount, we're going to need to use a Hitch Ball Bushing that goes from an 1 1/4 inch opening down to a 1 inch because our ball mount has a 1 1/4 inch opening on it, and the shank on our Convert-A-Ball is only a 1 inch, so we'll be using the Hitch Ball Bushing 1 1/4 inch to 1 inch, part # F-2. We'll begin by first sliding our bushing over the shank of our ball. With that into position, we can slide it through the hole in a ball mount. With that into position like that, we'll slide our lock washer on, followed by our hex nut. We'll then go ahead and take our impact gun and tighten down the nut. Now when tightening down the nut, it's helpful if you take a large Phillips head screwdriver and slide it through the hole and the ball shank. This will help it from spinning. more

Today, we'll be reviewing part number 19257. This is the Tow Ready Hitch Ball with the 1-7/8-inch ball diameter, has a medium shank, and it's rated at 2000 pounds. The diameter of our shank is going to measure 3/4 inch, so in selecting a ball mount, you need to make sure that it has a ball hole diameter of at least 3/4 inch. Our shank length is going to measure 2-3/8 inches, and this is designed to fit drawbar thicknesses of 3/8 inch to 1-1/4 inches, and our hitch ball has a capacity of 2000 pounds. Now, it has a really nice chrome-plated finish, so it's going to stand up well against corrosion and rust, and it also provides wrench flats on each side of the ball at the base. That way, we can securely grip it and torque it down to the specifications from the manufacturer. The way this would work is you would take your hitch ball, place it onto the ball mount, put the lock washer on, and then, you would thread on your nut. Then, all you would need to do is torque it down to the specifications listed by the manufacturer. That's going to complete today's review of part number 19257. Today on our 2012 Toyota Tundra, we'll be installing the Reese gooseneck hitch ball 5" offset, part number 19308. To install the offset ball, we'll first need to remove the old ball. Unlock the gooseneck handle, remove the ball, lining up the groove in the offset with the groove in the hitch and set the new offset in place. Resecure the handle. It'll lock the offset ball in position, and moving our trailer connection back 5 inches from its original hookup point. And there you have it for the Reese gooseneck hitch ball 5" offset, part number 19308 on our 2012 Toyota Tundra. more

Today we're going to review part number BWGNXA2006. This is the BMW Replacement Hitch Ball for the BMW Turnover Ball Under Bed Gooseneck Hitch, with a part number of BWGNRK1257. The reason that is the distance from the bottom of this square base to the center of that locking pinhole is a lot shorter than all the other hitch balls that are used in the BMW turn over ball hitches. B and W Hitch Ball - Gooseneck Hitch Ball - BWGNXA2005 Review- Video

Today we're going to review part number, BWGNXA2005, this is the B and W replacement hitch ball for the B and W turnoverball on their gooseneck hitch, part number BWGNRK1309. The ball diameter on this is 2-5/6ths, it has a weight capacity of 30,000 pounds. This replacement hitch ball is only designed to fit on the B and W turnoverball gooseneck trailer hitch, part number BWGNRK1309, and that part number is designed for the Dodge Ram 1500 truck, starting in 2009. The reason this one will only work on that hitch is because the size of the shank, from the center of the locking pin hole to the center of the base is shorter than the standard size hitch ball that comes on all the other turnoverball gooseneck hitches. This is a square ball base, as you can see here, prevents the ball turning in the base during hook-up. It is made of a sturdy steel construction, it is made in USA. I do want to give you that dimension, so that if you're trying to match it, from the bottom of this square base, to the center of that locking pin hole, is 1 inches. This is called a turnoverball because basically you would drop the square base into the gooseneck hitch and then you would tow with this gooseneck ball, when you're done towing, you can unlock it. more

B and W Hitch Ball - Gooseneck Hitch Ball - BWGNXA2000 Review- Video

Today we're going to review part number BWGNXA2000. This is the BMW replacement hitch ball for the BMW turnover ball underbed gooseneck hitches. This hitch ball is a 2-5/16 diameter ball, has a weight capacity of 30,000 pounds, and the solid machine hitch ball is a direct replacement for the 2-5/16 ball that came standard with your BMW turnover ball gooseneck hitch. Now this is the standard hitch ball. It comes with the majority of them except for two part numbers, and I'm going to give you those part numbers. The first one is the BWGNRK1257. That's a BMW turnover ball underbed gooseneck hitch designed for Toyota Tundras. It does use a ball that has a shorter distance from the bottom to the locking pin hole. The other one this will not work on is the BWGNRK1309. That's the turnover ball underbed gooseneck hitch for th Dodge Ram 1500 starting in 2009. Those two turnoverball gooseneck hitches use different hitch balls than this will fit pretty much all your other ones. This is the one used in most all the other ones, and I do want to give you the measurement on this one just so in case you need to measure the one you have to match it up. If you'll measure from the bottom up to the center of that locking pin hole you'll notice it's 2 inches. This is a square ball base as you can see here which prevents the ball from turning in the hitch during hookup. more

The ball size on this is 2 and 5/16ths in diameter and again, the offset from the center of the square base to the center of the ball is 4 inches.
